Museum of Modern Art

Museum of Modern Art, one of the world's pre-eminent museums of modern art, New York City. Founded in 1929, it is privately supported and has a collection of more than 100,000 objects, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, architecture and design, decorative arts, crafts, industrial design, prints, and illustrated books. Its holdings of film and photography are especially notable. The museum also has programs of loan exhibitions and publications.
