Clytemnestra



Clytemnestra, in Greek mythology, daughter of Leda and Tyndareus, twin sister of Helen of Troy, wife of Agamemnon, and mother of 3 daughters and a son, Orestes. Clytemnestra, along with her lover, killed her husband after he had sacrificed one of their daughters to the gods. She and her lover were both then killed by her son to avenge the death of his father.
