George Clymer



Clymer, George (1739–1813), American revolutionary patriot and statesman. One of the first colonists to advocate separation from England, Clymer was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence and a delegate to the Second Continental Congress. He served in the first House of Representatives 1789–91.
