Bulbul



Bulbul, any of various species of tropical songbirds of the family Pycnonotidae, native to Africa and southern Asia. About 7 to 10 in (18 to 25 cm) long, bulbuls have plain, fluffy feathers and a slim, notched beak designed for eating fruits and insects. They tend to travel in noisy flocks and can cause damage to orchards and crops.
