Frank Borman



Borman, Frank (1928– ), U.S. astronaut. After joining the Manned Space-craft Center of NASA in 1962, Borman became command pilot on the 14-day orbital Gemini 7 flight in December 1965. Along with James Lovell and William Anders, Borman participated in the Apollo 8 flight, the first humans to voyage around the moon. In 1970, Borman retired from NASA and entered commercial aviation.
