Battleford



Battleford (pop. 3,800), historic town in Saskatchewan, Canada, now a grain depot, manufacturing town, and site of the Battleford Historic Park and Fred Light Museum. Battleford was the capital of the Northwest Territories (1876–83) and of the district of Saskatchewan (1882–1905).
