Lincoln Memorial



Lincoln Memorial, marble monument to Abraham Lincoln in Washington, D.C., dedicated in 1922. Its 36 Doric columns represent the states of the Union when Lincoln was president. The great hall contains a huge statue of Lincoln by Daniel Chester French and 2 murals by Jules Guerin.
