Robert Todd Lincoln



Lincoln, Robert Todd (1843–1926), only son of Abraham Lincoln to reach adulthood. After serving on General Grant's staff in the Civil War, he became a corporation lawyer and was later U.S. secretary of war (1881–85) and minister to Great Britain (1889–93).
