Gethsemane

Gethsemane (Hebrew: gat semanim, “oil press”), the garden across the Kidron valley, on the Mount of Olives, east of the old city of Jerusalem, where Jesus prayed on the eve of his crucifixion and was betrayed. Gethsemane was probably an olive grove; its precise location is disputed.
