John Fletcher



Fletcher, John (1579–1625), English author of plays. Primarily known for his collaborations with the playwright Francis Beaumont (1584?–1616), Fletcher wrote many of his own dramas before and after the active period of their partnership. Popular along with other great playwrights in his time, he also collaborated with Shakespeare on Henry VIII and The Two Noble Kinsmen.
