Epinephrine

Epinephrine, or adrenalin, hormone secreted by the adrenal glands. The release of epinephrine causes a rise in blood pressure, an increase in the heart rate, and a rise in muscle strength. Emotions like fear and anger, typically associated with “fight or flight” situations, trigger the release of this hormone.
