Anna Elizabeth Dickinson



Dickinson, Anna Elizabeth (1842–1932), U.S. abolitionist and orator who spoke out for the rights of women and African-Americans. Between 1860 and the end of the Civil War she made many speeches denouncing slavery and also became one of the leading feminists of her time.
