Whitefly

Whitefly, any of a family (Aleyrodidae) of small insects related to the scale insects. Some whiteflies are pests, including the greenhouse whitefly and the citrus whitefly. The latter damages citrus plants by sucking sap and encouraging the growth of a mold.
