Very high frequency waves



Very high frequency waves (VHF), electromagnetic radio waves falling between high frequency and ultra high frequency. VHF waves are from 30 million to 300 million cycles per second, and the wavelengths range from 1 to 10 meters. They are used for television and FM (frequency modulation) radio broadcasts and by amateur radio operators.
