Tijuana



Tijuana (pop. 742,700), city in Mexico, near the U.S. border. Tijuana, its name derived from the Tia Juana (Spanish, “Aunt Jane”) ranch in the area, was settled in the early 1900s. It is a popular tourist town, noted for its bullfights and racetracks.
