Saracens



Saracens, Muslims who invaded parts of the Christian world in Asia, Africa, and Europe from the 600s to the 1000s. They consisted of people of Palestine and Syria, the Arab Moors, and the Seljuks. The term Saracen was first used by Greek and Roman writers to describe wandering Arab tribes.
