Ned Rorem
Rorem, Ned (1923– ), U.S. composer of melodic art-songs whose texts are drawn from the works of 20th-century U.S. poets. His Air Music won the 1976 Pulitzer Prize. He has published 5 volumes of diaries (1966–78).
