Ringling brothers

Ringling brothers, five U.S. brothers who created the world's largest circus. Led by John Ringling (1866–1936), they started with a one-wagon show and became Barnum & Bailey's chief rival, buying them out in 1907. The combined Ringling Bros, and Barnum & Bailey Circus was the world's largest by 1930. It remained in the family's hands until 1967.
