Newspaper Guild

Newspaper Guild, labor union that represents workers in journalism enterprises in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada—previously called the American Newspaper Guild (1933–71). The union is affiliated with the AFL-CIO and the Canadian Labor Congress. It negotiates for employees in commercial and news departments of journalism ventures such as newspapers, magazines, and news services.
