The females and young are yellow-fawn with a white eye-ring; the adult males are dark brown, stand about 32 in (81 cm) tall at the shoulder, and bear spiral horns up to 2 ft (60 cm) long. Blackbuck are very swift and used to be hunted with cheetahs.
