Dairy farming

Dairy farming, all the processes producing milk and milk products. Dairy farming includes the breeding, selection, and management of cattle (and sometimes goats and domesticated buffaloes) to ensure a regular output of good milk. Processing into butter and cheese is generally undertaken in factories. Fresh milk is the single most nutritionally complete food; nearly 20% of all foodstuffs eaten annually in the United States are dairy products.
