Creosote bush

Creosote bush (Larrea divaricata), evergreen shrub that grows in the deserts of Mexico and southwestern United States. Growing to a height of 5–8ft (1.5–2.5m), the creosote bush produces a resin and tiny yellow flowers. Its berries are round and white and have a feltlike texture. Creosote bushes often grow in circles, and botanists believe that some of these colonies are thousands of years old.
