Collie



Collie, 2 types of sheepdog, rough-coated and smooth-coated, originating in Scotland in the 1600s and brought to the United States by British colonists a century later. The collie stands 2 ft (60 cm) at the shoulder and may be sable and white, blue, tan, or all white, though early breeds were black. There is also a miniature variety.
