John Patrick Cardinal Cody
Cody, John Patrick Cardinal (1907–82), archbishop of Chicago 1965–82. Cody served on the Vatican staff in the 1930s. He was appointed archbishop of New Orleans in 1964, and became a cardinal in 1967.
