Citizenship Day
Citizenship Day, day that honors citizens of voting age and naturalized foreign-born citizens of the United States, Sept. 17 (anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution). Congress passed this act to replace the earlier May celebration called I Am an American Day.
