Domenico Cimarosa
Cimarosa, Domenico (1749–1801), prolific Italian composer famous for his comic operas, notably Il Matrimonio Segreto (“The Secret Marriage”; 1792). He was court composer to Catherine the Great of Russia, 1787–91.
