Chinch bug



Chinch bug (Blissus leucopterus), small insect found in the United States, Canada, Central America, and the West Indies. The adult, about one-fifth in (5 mm) long, is black with red legs and white wings. In spring adults lay eggs on roots and stems in grain fields.
