Celts

Celts, prehistoric people speaking Indo-European dialects, whose numerous tribes occupied much of Europe between 2000 and 100 B.C. They grouped together in small settlements. Their social unit, based on kinship, was divided into a warrior nobility and a farming class. Their priests or druids were recruited from the nobility.
