Cayman Islands, British dependency in the Caribbean Sea, about 200 mi (320 km) northwest of Jamaica, consisting of 3 islands: Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac. Georgetown, on Grand Cayman, is the capital and largest city. Tourism is the main industry, but low taxes and banking secrecy laws have attracted a variety of companies.
