Bruce Catton



Catton, Bruce (1899–1978), U.S. journalist and Civil War historian. He is best known for his trilogy on the Army of the Potomac: Mr. Lincoln's Army (1951), Glory Road (1952), and A Stillness at Appomattox (1953). He won the Pulitzer Prize in 1954.
