Bushmaster

Bushmaster, large tropical American pit viper (Lachesis muta), which may grow up to 12 ft (4 m) long and feeds mainly on small mammals. It is light brown and has dark patterns on its back. Its long fangs and large venom glands make it dangerous to humans.
