Bunting

Bunting, finchlike bird (especially, genus Passerina), with a conical seed-cracking bill. Buntings feed on seeds and live near the ground in woods or grasslands. They range from hot, humid forests of the tropics to polar regions. The snow bunting nests in northern Greenland, farther north than any other land bird.
