Pearl Sydenstricker Buck



Buck, Pearl Sydenstricker (1892–1973), U.S. author. Most of her novels are set in China, where she lived until 1934. She won the Pulitzer Prize in 1932 for The Good Earth (1931), and the 1938 Nobel Prize in literature.
