Briard



Briard, sheepdog first bred in France in the twelfth century. Used for herding and police work, the briard is strongly built and usually black, grey, or tawny in color. It stands 22 to 27 in (56 to 69 cm) and weighs about 70 to 80 lb (32 to 36 kg).
