Boston Tea Party



Boston Tea Party, incident at Boston on Dec. 16, 1773, in protest against the tea tax and British import restrictions. A party of colonial patriots disguised in Native American dress boarded three British East India Company ships and dumped their cargo of tea into the harbor.
