Björn Borg



Borg, Björn (1956– ), Swedish tennis player and the only player in modern tennis history to win the men's singles title at the Wimbeldon Championships in five consecutive years, 1976–80. Earlier, as a 19-year-old, he led Sweden to its first Davis Cup victory. Borg retired from tournament tennis in 1983 and made a comeback in 1991.
