Bobolink

Bobolink (Dolichonyx oryzivorus), North American migratory songbird. Also called ricebird (for feeding on rice crops during southern migration), it has a dull plumage, except in spring, when the male acquires white and yellow patches. Once hunted but now protected, the bobolink breeds in the United States and southern Canada, migrating to South America for the winter.
