Bobcat



Bobcat (Lynx rufus), ferocious North American spotted lynx (wild cat), named for its short (6 in/15.2 cm) tail. A nocturnal animal, the bobcat grows to a length of about 3 ft (0.9 m) and has a brown and white coat with black spots and stripes.
