Blackberry

Blackberry, prickly bramble (genus Rubus) of the rose family, native to north temperate regions of the world, that produces an edible fruit. Some varieties, including the loganberry and boysenberry, are cultivated to be sold fresh, frozen, or canned, and are used in beverages, liqueurs, and preserves.
