Chaim Nachman Bialik



Bialik, Chaim Nachman (1873–1934), one of the greatest of modern Hebrew poets and novelists. Born in the Ukraine, he settled in Palestine in 1924. His poetry gave fiery expression to Jewish national aspirations. His publishing business in Odessa was a significant force in the revival of Hebrew language and literature.
