Bell's palsy



Bell's palsy, nerve disorder that causes paralysis of one side of the face. Thought to be due to a virus infection, Bell's palsy occurs most often in young men. It begins suddenly with a dull ache behind the jaw and weakened facial muscles. The paralyzed muscles usually begin to recover within ten days or so.
