Boris Becker



Becker, Boris (1967– ), German tennis player. He was the youngest winner of the men's singles title at Wimbledon (1985) and he won it again the following year. In 1988 he helped West Germany win its first Davis Cup, while winning the Masters and World Championship the same year. In 1989 he won his third Wimbledon title. Among other victories were the U.S. Open in 1989, the Masters tournament (1992), and the Australian Open in 1991 and 1996.
