Battle Creek



Battle Creek (pop. 135,982), city in southern Michigan, famous as a health and sports center. John Harvey Kellogg, associated with the breakfast cereal company that bears his name, was a principal founder of the Battle Creek Health Center. The city is the world's leading producer of breakfast cereal and also produces automobile parts, electrical equipment, and machinery.
