Thomas Morley



Morley, Thomas (1557?–1603?), English composer noted for his madrigals. A pupil of William Byrd and organist of St. Paul's Cathedral, he also wrote A Plaine and Easie Introduction to Practicall Musicke (1597), an invaluable source of information on Elizabethan musical practice.
