Moose Jaw (pop. 35,100), city in Canada, located in southern Saskatchewan, at the point where Thunder Creek and Moose Jaw River meet. Situated on a major railway line, Moose Jaw is an agricultural and livestock processing and distribution center. Available facilities include grain storage, flour milling, stockyards, dairies, slaughterhouses, and meatpacking. Moose Jaw also has several oil refineries. Manufactured products include chemicals, clothing, and lumber.
