Marmoset



Marmoset, the world's smallest monkey, usually growing to less than 1 ft (30 cm) long. It is a member of the family Callitrichidae. Some marmosets have striking ear tufts. The pygmy marmoset (Cebuella pygmaea) is 5.5 to 6.25 in (14–16 cm). Marmosets live in the forests of South America, feeding on insects, leaves, and fruit.
