Hank Luisetti



Luisetti, Hank (1916– ), U.S. basketball player. His revolutionary one-handed push shot increased the scoring and tempo of the game. As a Stanford University student, Luisetti broke the national college four-year scoring record, with 1,596 points. In 1938 he became the first player to score 50 points in a single game, against Duquesne University.
