Ivan Lendl

Lendl, Ivan (1960– ), Czechoslovakian-born U.S. tennis player. Known for his power and consistency, Lendl held the number one ranking from 1985 to 1987. His achievements include victories at the United States Open (1985, 86, 87), the French Open (1984, 86, 87) and the Australian Open (1989, 90).
