Lamb's-quarters, pigweed, or goosefoot (Chenopodium album), annual herbaceous plant related to spinach, sugar beets, and chard. The plants, native to Europe, Asia, and North America, grow from 1 to 10 ft (30 cm to 3 m) and have diamond-shaped leaves and groups of small greenish flowers.
