Lake Erie



Lake Erie, one of the 5 Great Lakes, fourth on the border between the United States and Canada. Lake Erie is 240 mi (386 km) long, 38–57 mi (61–92 km) wide, and has an area of about 10,000 sq mi (26,000 sq km). It is the southernmost of the Great Lakes and is a link in the St. Lawrence Seaway.
